Love to ride? Then pull up a chair and kick off your boots — you just might’ve found your new tribe!
We are North Cascade HOG, a somewhat loud (but friendly) crew of riders who don’t believe in an “off season.” Rain, shine, or sideways weather — we ride, we meet, and we get together all year-round. Our members span from Alaska to Monroe, across the mountains and over the water, proving that if there’s a road, someone in this chapter has probably already ridden it.
Our home base is Sedro-Woolley, which just so happens to sit next to some of the most breathtaking twisties and mountain scenery the Pacific Northwest has to offer. If you can’t find a ride here, you’re probably not looking hard enough.
Though we are home-based in Sedro, our typical riding territory extends throughout the PNW and beyond. We welcome new faces, new ideas, and anyone with a passion for two (or three) wheels and good company.
Our General Meeting is held at 10:00 AM on the first Sunday of every month at the Sedro-Woolley American Legion Hall. Doors open at 8:30 AM for coffee, catching up, and serious bacon consumption. Breakfast is cooked to order by the Legion folks for $15 — and yes, if this is your first meeting, its our treat.
When the plates are cleared and the weather’s on our side, a group ride usually follows. No pressure, no judgment — just throttle, wind, good times and questionable company.
What to expect:
A welcoming crew who’ll remember your bike (and maybe your name).
Endless opportunities to ride, laugh, and occasionally take the scenic route… by accident.
A community that values relationships, friendships, and the power of family.
Try us out. Come to a meeting. Join a ride.
Better yet — come to a meeting and join a ride.
We are glad you are here and we hope you stay and play for awhile.
Why should you join a Harley Owners

Do you love riding solo but sometimes crave the rumble of a group ride? Or maybe you live for that sweet sound of Big Twins bouncing off the mountains while your friends try to keep up in your mirrors.
However you roll, you’ll fit right in at North Cascade HOG.

However you roll, you’ll fit right in at North Cascade HOG.
Sure, we all ride Harleys — that’s the easy part. But what really makes it special is the stuff in between: camaraderie, new gadgets, better riding skills, laughter, safety tips, and a few wildly exaggerated ride stories.
Oh, and food. Always food.
Top 5 reasons to join:
Herding Cats
Every H.O.G.® chapter needs a sponsoring dealership. After our original dealership closed, the awesome crew at Sound Harley-Davidson stepped up and adopted us in 2019. We’ve been part of their loud, lovable family ever since.
When you stop by, say "HI!" to Jenny B., our in-house HOG wrangler and general bringer of good vibes.
Each year we elect officers — brave volunteers who keep the rides rolling, the events organized, and the chaos… somewhat managed. Everyone has a voice, and we love when members jump in to help. It truly takes a village — or at least a very loud, leather-clad one.
Dues and Don'ts
Our funds are simple: Membership dues is $25 yearly, 50/50 and Dealership BBQS add some extras, and we "get by with a little help from our Dealership."
Our Treasurer keeps the books tidy and the chapter rolling.
NCHOG isn’t just a club — it’s a family on two wheels. We ride hard, play hard, can be a little too loud, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We are a small group that does big things.
Join us. The road is better with friends.
Some stories start with a bang. Ours started with a dream and a parts counter.
Back in 1975, Harley-Davidson was owned by AMF (yes, the bowling alley people), and things were a little… rough around the edges. Bikes leaked oil, the company leaked money, and loyal riders kept the faith through sheer stubbornness and love of two wheels.

Meanwhile, a guy named Fred Smith, then the parts manager at Everett Harley, was busy daydreaming about something bigger: owning his very own dealership. In 1976, Fred picked up the phone, called Harley-Davidson, and said, more or less, “Hey, how about Skagit County?” The district rep took one look at Fred, saw the passion, and the rest is history. Skagit Harley-Davidson was born, and a new era of Harley love came roaring into the valley.
Fast forward to December 1988. Fred decided that every good dealership deserves a pack of loyal riders to call it home. So, he sponsored a Harley Owners Group chapter, and just like that, North Cascade HOG (NCHOG) came into the world with 70 charter members—all ready to ride, wrench, and tell tall tales over coffee.
Over the years, the chapter became a tight-knit crew. Rides got longer, stories got taller, and friendships got louder (Harley pipes have that effect).
Change is inevitable...and so is NCHOG. Eventually, Fred retired, the dealership changed hands, and like many good things, North Cascades Harley-Davidson faced some tough economic times. Then the pandemic came along and the dealership closed its doors—but NCHOG wasn’t about to fade into the sunset.
Enter the heroes at Sound Harley-Davidson, who didn’t just keep the rubber on the road—they petitioned Harley-Davidson to sponsor two chapters. In 2019, they officially adopted us. Turns out, they liked us (or couldn’t get rid of us), and we’ve been part of their family ever since.
Today, NCHOG is still here, still riding, still laughing too loud at gas stations, and still proving that a little grit (and a lot of throttle) goes a long way. Our roots may have started in Skagit, but our heart beats strong with Sound Harley-Davidson backing us.
We ride together.
We laugh together.
We occasionally get lost together.
And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
